Invited to the evening organized on the sidelines of the Bafta, this Sunday February 16 in London, the it-girl rehabilitated the indie sleaze style which made her famous in the 2010s.
Alexa Chung has been navigating the fashion landscape for over fifteen years . Although discreet, the most iconic it-girl of the 2010s continues to appear at the most exclusive parties as well as on the most prestigious red carpets. This Sunday, February 16, she was found at the Fashion & Film Party organized by “Vogue” and “GQ”. The English top model appeared on the photocall of the event in an outfit with a bohemian and indie sleaze accent, right in line with the fashion trends of the moment. Her look consisted of a sky blue lingerie-style ensemble with ruffles and lace revealing her legs, to which she added a long beige wool coat, a pair of plexiglass heeled mules and a quilted Miu Miu bag in the same color as her top and her little shorts. An outfit with a modernized indie sleaze style, so emblematic of her old look, which helped propel her to the forefront of the scene in the 2010s.

How to adopt the indie sleaze style in 2025?
The indie sleaze look , so typical of the 2010s, has been making a comeback in recent months. From Alexa Chung to Kate Moss , Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley, the looks of the English it-girls of the time are (re)becoming the major inspiration for sporting this half-rock, half-bohemian look. To adopt this trend as it should be in 2025, we’re betting on the right pieces: a ruffled miniskirt and a satin nightie – which we break up with biker boots or rain boots to copy the Glastonbury Festival look – a Barbour jacket, slim jeans, a thin and extra-long scarf, a soft oversized T-shirt, a leather jacket, ballet flats, ripped denim shorts… Strong pieces from this era, which we mix with more current items for an indie sleaze 2.0 silhouette!
