According to the Argentine prosecutor’s office, the 31-year-old singer was likely alone at the time of his fall and “was going through an episode of substance abuse.”At the time of the autopsy, “no ‘defensive’ type injuries were found” on the artist’s hands. “All injuries were vital and occurred simultaneously,” the report said.
These injuries and the position of the body on the ground suggest that Liam “did not adopt a reflex posture to protect himself [in the fall] and that he may have fallen into a state of semi-unconsciousness or total unconsciousness”, which would validate an accidental theory.
Marcelo Roma, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation, confirmed that the preliminary autopsy determined that the singer’s death was caused by multiple traumas and internal and external bleeding.
