Review: Rituals The Alchemy Collection Stone Diffuser

During Christmas Rituals always has a beautiful limited edition and this year it is The Alchemy Collection. I could not resist to admire and smell the collection in the Rituals store and I was immediately sold, I really love this spicy scent of cinnamon, white orchid and amber. But the best thing about the collection was the Stone Diffuser, I had to have it. But you guessed it, sold out everywhere. But I still found a package by chance.

Rituals always has beautiful descriptions of their products and yes, they really got me on this product.

“This transformative perfume opens with the spicy essence of cinnamon, elegantly combined with the golden sweetness of honey. The heart notes of the perfume gain depth and complexity thanks to smoky and earthy tobacco notes, complemented by the nutty fullness of sesame and the elegant facets of white orchid. The scent unfolds with comforting and sweet vanilla, enriched with the resinous quality of benzoin. The balsamic accents of labdanum add warmth and sensuality, while the warm notes of amber give the composition an addictive character.”

The product itself looks really beautiful, only the packaging I find a bit boring. I don’t really get the idea that there is a super beautiful bowl with stones in it. The packaging is quite large and is also clearly indicated how the products should be used.

The packaging contains a beautiful glass bowl with a pipette with the perfume and a bag with the salt crystals. I think it looks very nice, especially because the stones are also in a bag. If they had been in a plastic bag I would have found it a real turn-off. The bottle contains 20 ml which I don’t think is very much. The first time you need quite a few drops and then occasionally a few drops to maintain the scent.
