In total black, Kate Moss and her daughter Lila create the most elegant matching look of London Fashion Week

Mother and daughter attended the dinner hosted by Donna Karan in honor of the spring 2025 campaign, which Kate Moss fronts. For the occasion, they matched their outfits, breathing new life into the little black dress.

Kate and Lila Moss have mastered the art of matching looks: whether it’s on the front rows of runway shows, at the Met Gala , on the red carpet or at parties, they know how to perfectly combine the mother’s nineties influence with the daughter’s modernity to create silhouettes that are in perfect harmony. They proved it again on February 21, during a dinner at Isabel’s Mayfair to celebrate Donna Karan’s spring 2025 campaign and Kate Moss’ status as the face of the little black dress, in the middle of London Fashion Week. The duo opted for an all-black look, revisiting the little black dress in their own way. Kate Moss opted for a draped satin minidress and matching tights, while Lila Moss, who recently modeled for DKNY’s latest campaign, chose a curved silk strapless dress. In perfect harmony, mother and daughter completed their looks with black peep-toe pumps and solid gold accessories.

The story between Donna Karan and the Mosses

Between Donna Karan and the Mosses, it’s a true love story. In 1993, at just 19 years old, Kate Moss walked the runway for the New York brand and became one of its iconic faces, starring in advertising campaigns until 2008. When the designer relaunched her brand in early 2024, after an eight-year absence, the top model was not in the cast, despite the presence of Cindy Crawford , Linda Evangelista and Shalom Harlow. An absence that has now been repaired with the spring-summer 2025 campaign, where Kate Moss reconnects with nineties elegance under the lens of Craig McDean. And as the saying goes: like mother, like daughter. Lila Moss follows in her mother’s footsteps and, in turn, becomes the face of the brand. She embodies the face of DKNY, Donna Karan’s younger and more urban ready-to-wear line, thus affirming the continuity of the link between the house and the Moss clan.
