Best of beauty: Inès de la Fressange at Elizabeth Arden, Balzac Paris launches into cosmetics…

Here is all the beauty news appreciated by the editorial team this week.

There are encounters that seem obvious. At the start of 2025, Ines de La Fressange becomes the French muse of the legendary Eight Hour® Repair Balm by Elizabeth Arden. Chic and timeless, she perfectly embodies the elegance and authenticity of this cult treatment. Created nearly a century ago, this multi-use balm soothes, protects and enhances all skin types. When the icon of French style unites with New York excellence, beauty transcends time. EC

Ready-to-wear brand Balzac Paris is opening a new chapter in its history by launching its “new BB”: Balzac Beauté . While the brand already had its Honorine perfume (and its hand and body cream variations), this new range goes further by offering a complete beauty routine for an ultra-natural and effortless result. A healthy glow hydrating serum (€45), a complexion powder (€35), an eyelash and eyebrow mascara (€30) and a lip balm (€32). The best part? The packaging design in an olive green shade flirting with a royal orange, without leopard this time, but adorned with stripes and the brand’s monogram. The intention? To stick to the image of this sober, chic and timeless line. PJ
