Black and white are the most elegant combination there is. Immortalized by Chanel through its iconic tweed suits and two-tone bags, this balance of opposing shades is synonymous with elegance. But while we accept two-tone shoes without hesitation, the juxtaposition of black tights with white pumps, or white socks with black shoes, remains daring.
