Should I keep it? Should I not keep it? Before you put this item of clothing on the “for sale” pile, start by trying it on. What do you see? What do you feel? A change in body shape or a new look will help you decide. Otherwise, take the questionnaire below.
The observation: this style is no longer in fashion
The question: how is this garment out of fashion?
In every wardrobe, I see pieces from other decades. I’m not talking about vintage that clearly displays its inspirations, or treasures that stand the test of time with brilliance: a piece of clothing doesn’t need to be fashionable to look good. The proof is that when you wear it, you feel confident and you always get lovely compliments. By “out of fashion clothing“, I mean those details of style, volume, and cut that are noticeable at first glance and that age a look (ultra-stretch denim jacket, tailored pants with narrow thighs, too-short office blazer, narrow trench coat, V-neck sailor top, ankle boots with ultra-elongated noses, etc.). You wonder if these pieces can become fashionable again
