Early on Tuesday morning, the IRM placed several provinces in the north of Belgium on yellow alert for slippery conditions. On X, meteorologist David Dehenauw apologized for having warned the population of these conditions so late. “It was only early this morning that there was enough information to issue a warning for slippery conditions.
