Tom Ford

Ready to wear Fall-Winter 2025-2026

With his first show for Tom Ford, Haider Ackermann signals the return of the evening wardrobe

Who did we see?

It was one of the most anticipated shows of Fashion Week. For good reason, this Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2025-2026 show marked the debut of Haider Ackermann as artistic director of the American house. To support the French designer, many celebrities made the trip, respecting the black color code that was required. Kate Moss arrived at Place Vendôme in one of her signature outfits: black jeans, a faux fur coat and matching heeled ankle boots. Camille Rowe opted for a low-cut silk jumpsuit, Lou Doillon for a trouser suit grafted with a white anthurium flower, Farida Kelfa for a suit adorned with a bow tie and Jared Leto for a similar model, in a casual version. Not to mention Carine Roitfeld, Doechii and, of course, Tom Ford himself.

What did we see?

For this first collection, Haider Hackermann revisits the evening wardrobe. By respecting the heritage of the founder of the house, of course, but also by adding his touch of sensuality and signature gaiety. The “one shoulder” dresses are slit well above the hip, the fitted suits are illuminated by flamboyant color combinations. Some are adorned with sequins, others are worn with shiny leather gloves. A lilac fringed dress gives way to a pastel double-breasted coat, then to a short black dress with a train. The bursts of color and glamorous details mingle with sexy and daring leather silhouettes, a mix of genres and visions. A long blue satin bathrobe and a morning newspaper carried in hand mark the end of the party.

The detail we love

Low-waisted skirts and pants, very nineties, reminiscent of the Tom Ford era. A detail highlighted by thin belts, tied under the navel, sometimes on the skin.
